Platform
  • Detail with all standard beams: Rafters, Plates, Hip/Valley rafters, Ridge, Post, Brace, etc.
  • Every beam has associated intelligent information which can easily be used for bill of materials, produce automatic shop drawings and send to CNC interfaces.
  • Add intelligent connectors, such as tenons, dovetails, half-lap and scarf joints to any part of the construction and export to a required format.
  • You can expand your library with your own catalogue of custom profiled beams, materials, connections and tools.
  • Detect collisions already in your construction at design stage.
  • Intelligent position numbering: harbours numbers even if the construction has changed, and also avoids overlapping of numbers.
  • Roof calculation is based on construction information within plans or can even be the locations of the roof tiles.
  • Use dynamic commands such as: split, join, stretch, cut beams, and much more.
  • Basic texture can also be added to the visualised result.
  • Material lists per beam and sheet with rounding and length optimisations.
  • Automatically create dimensioned component shop drawings to your own customisable manufacturing format.
  • Expand to the hsb toolsets, StickFrame, Sip, CLT, Glulam and more, to allow for hybrid design.
hsbStickFrame is a tool set that requires the hsbDesign Platform. It is a tool set of timber components connected together to form high density open and closed framed walls, matched with tools to complete the design and production in timber construction.
